NOTICE
Contractor registration changes for the City of Pickerington, per City Ordinance 2009-56:
• Registration required for all contractors performing the following trades/services in the
City;
o General contractor
o Mechanical (OCILB license required)
o Plumbing/hydronics (OCILB license required)
o Electrical (OCILB license required)
o Fire protection (Ohio Fire Marshall license/certification required)
o Radon mitigation (Ohio Department of Health license required)
o Water line installer
o Sewer line installer
• The new registration fee is $120.00 per trade/service.
• Effective November 5, 2009 a bond will no longer be required.
• Proof of general liability insurance, minimum $500,000, required for all registrants.
• Workers Compensation coverage is required when an applicant employs one or more
people.
2010 registration packets will be mailed in early December.
