Drug-Free Safety Training for supervisors and employees
Protect your company from damaging consequences

Substance abuse is often the silent and unseen cause of work-related accidents. Unfortunately, employers and their employees don’t realize it until it’s too late – when the costs can be very damaging to an employer’s bottom line, and to the safety and well-being of employees.

The BX offers drug-free workplace training for your employees and supervisors to help you meet the yearly training requirements of the BWC drug-free safety program (DFSP).

By participating in these training sessions, employees will receive information on their company policy, their responsibilities and rights, and the resources available to them if they or a family member needs help.

Managers and supervisors play an important role in their company’s DFSP. The course will teach them how to get to know their employees more and observe changes in their job performance, along with documenting their observations.

The BX is offering the new, one-hour training sessions on Tuesday, July 19 at the Exchange. To register, contact Stacey Kruse (ext. 226) at the BX, or register online at bx.org.

Drug-Free Employee Education
Time: 8 to 9 a.m.
Cost: $35 for employees of BX member firms, $50 for nonmembers

Drug-Free Supervisor Training
Time: 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.
Cost: $55 for employees of BX member firms, $75 for nonmembers

Class requirement: Students must submit a copy of their company’s drug-free policy prior to the start of the class.
