US EPA publishes final rule on renovation, repair and painting
Beginning April 2010, Contractors that perform renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead based paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978 must be certified and follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.

Two hours of additional safety training this Friday
Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation’s (BWC) new rule mandates that any employer currently participating in a group rating program that has experienced a workers’ compensation claim between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2008 must complete a required two hours of additional safety training before June 30, 2010.
