If you like the savings you see, all you need to do is complete the Program Enrollment Form and return it – with a copy of your latest electric bill – to Volunteer Energy. You should see your savings on your bill within two cycles!

BX Annual Savings Analysis:

If you’re a business customer of AEP, you can save substantially on your company’s electricity through a new program endorsed by the Builders Exchange.

What is “substantially?” In the BX facility, $5,865 over the course of one year! (See actual AEP invoices and the BX Annual Savings Analysis below.)

You’ve seen ads promoting discounted electricity rates where the whole concept seemed too complicated to figure out, "too good to be true."

But it is true: this is a genuine opportunity to save on your electricity bill. And if your facility is larger than our BX building (for many members, that’s the case), your savings could be astounding!

Here’s how it works:

First Energy Solutions is certified by the PUCO to supply electric generation services in Ohio. As a “Competitive Retail Electric Service” provider, First Energy will supply the electric generation to your utility (AEP) based on your usage. AEP then delivers the electricity to you.

You go from one source to two: First Energy for your electricity, AEP for your distribution. But you still receive only one bill, from AEP.

Good news – that bill will be a lot lower, reflecting your electricity rate from First Energy.

What’s your commitment?

Right now, First Energy Solutions – through our endorsed distributor, Volunteer Energy –offers a guaranteed rate to BX members through June 2014. That means no rate increases for three years.

Yes, you need to read the fine print! The Terms & Conditions (enrollment form .pdf) explain cancellation terms, billing details and more. They are found on the Electric Program Enrollment Form, which you need to complete and return along with a copy of your company’s latest electric bill.
