Meet the 2011 Rising Leaders Jarrett Gary Company: George J. Igel & Co., Inc.  Title:  Project Engineer Years in Construction Industry: 5 Rising Leader Comments:  “I am hoping the Rising Leaders program will polish and define my leadership strengths and capabilities through lecture, class discussion and personal interaction with my peers. I also hope to gain professional and social acquaintances in this industry via networking through the program.”

The Rising Leaders Institute (RLI), supported by a grant from the Builders Exchange Foundation, is an intensive, 12-session program focused on building management skills and business knowledge of high potential individuals, and preparing them to serve as the future leaders of the construction industry.

Participants in the Rising Leaders Institute are required to have a champion from their company, a manager who acts as their mentor throughout the program. Gary’s mentor is David Downs, Vice President at George J. Igel & Co., Inc.

With a curriculum developed for the Builders Exchange by The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, the sessions are taught by OSU faculty members.
