The Builders Exchange Foundation was created in 1999 by members of the Builders Exchange of Central Ohio, to strengthen the area’s construction workforce of the future. 

The foundation, a 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization, will support efforts in:

n  Workforce Development,
n  Industry Image Enhancement,
n  Employee Education Opportunities and
n  Improved Industry Business Practices

The Builders Exchange Foundation is a vehicle for member firms and individuals to make contributions that benefit their industry.  Establishing a 501(c)(3) also enables the BX to be eligible for other grant and gift opportunities for funding more programs.

The BX board made the first, leadership gift to the foundation in 1999: a contribution of $350,000 from the association.

The Exchange also committed to cover all fund-raising and administrative costs for the initial campaign . . . so 100% of every member gift will go directly to the foundation endowment.
