More than $50,000 awarded to promising students for the 2011/2012 school year

Many thanks to Staples Advantage for their generous donations benefiting the BX Scholarship program.

The BX Scholarship Trustees recently awarded $50,250 to 39 high school seniors and current college students pursuing construction-related careers. Individual scholarships ranged from $750 to $2,500. 

Recipients were judged on criteria including academic achievement, financial need, and their potential future impact on the central Ohio construction community.

The BX Scholarship Program has been investing in future leaders since 1959. Today, the program is administered by the Builders Exchange Foundation, which has managed the program since 1999.
